Where it started
Jared Ledbetter is the founder of Veteran Database, and is a USMC Veteran. He sought to build a place where all things for Veteran Business & Entertainment can have a single home. Thus, VeteranDB was born.
Initially, the plan was to start off with an IMDB type of website and grow from there. We had no idea it would take off like it did.
What drives us
To give the Veteran community a single point of reference for business and entertainment, so people can find what they need and share what they do.
VeteranDB is a shared point of reference for what our community is building, offering, and creating, with businesses, organizations, and voices together in one place.
To help 10,000+ Veterans at the same time, and to keep scaling consistently while we do.
We are repairing and centralizing a fractured Veteran ecosystem, bringing scattered businesses, organizations, and voices together instead of leaving them spread across websites and social feeds.
What we stand for
VeteranDB is 100% Veteran-owned and operated.
Public listings require an organization with a verified Veteran or Dependent administrator.
We are against mass advertising on this platform.
